DIRECTV Guide font style and size

One thing I miss from DIRECTV Satellite is the font size of the guide.   On the DIRECTV Steam box, it seems small.  That said, when one selects TV SHOWS on the left of the guide, the Font size/style changes to an easily readable and (in my opinion) a better looking style.    Is there any way to replicate that in the normal guide?  Is there a way to hide the selection list on the left (All, Recents, etc.) so the actual guide can expand to the full size of the screen?
