Directv Stream free trial
Can I get a Directv free trial if I currently subscribe to Directv Satellite? I was told by customer service that I am not eligible for a free trial. I don't want to cancel my satellite subscription until I try out the streaming service. The website also said that I am not eligible for unlimited DVR if I am switching from satellite to streaming, but the customer service representative said that is not true, as long as I cancel my satellite subscription. Very confusing!

You can KEEP your satellite subscription. Just be sure to USE a different email address than your satellite account when signing up. Then, you will be treated as a new customer with a free trial.
