Hulu Crashes Gemini

When I view open Hulu for Android using the Gemini Streaming device, often Hulu will lock up, showing only a black screen, when I attempt to stream a program.  Then, when I return to Hulu by pressing the "Guide" button, DirecTV no longer will stream a live program.  The blue bar will continue to scroll across the screen.  

The only solution seems to be resetting the Gemini streaming device completely.  This requires me to re-enter all usernames and passwords.  It's very frustrating.

Currently, I have to use a separate Roku stick to on a different input in order to watch Hulu "On-Demand."

I called tech support, and they sent me a new Gemini Air Streaming device.  Unfortunately, I had the same problem.

Is Hulu crashing DirecTV or does Gemini not work with Hulu well.  

I'm suspicious that one of the companies is purposefully sabotaging the other, as my DirecTV Gemini Air works with Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Spotify perfectly.
