Program remote to turn off epson projector

I have the DirecTV stream programmed for my setup: Epson Home Cinema 5050ub projector, Okyo TX-RZ50 receiver, DIrecTV Stream.

The DirectTV (and other inputs) are connected to the receiver, the receiver to the projector - all by HDMI. This "mostly" works.

The remote controls everything but does not turn the projector off. The projector, like the remote, has a dedicated "off" key. How can I get the remote to send "off"?

Also, is there any way for "on" (or another button) to select a specific input on the receiver?

As I explained above, I have already programed the remote and it mostly works. The issue is that the configuration for the Epson projector is not correct,  it does not send "off" .

I'm having the opposite problem. After programming, it does not turn the projector on but does turn it off.

Point the remote at the projector.  If this works you need a remote extender as I did, but mine still does not turn off.
