Switching from Xfinity Cable to Direct TV

So, I make sure I sign up to the plan that gives me the Channels I want, I have a WiFi connection and I'm good to go?

I need the Marquee Network (Chicago /Cubs) and I have (5) TVs.

Even if my monthly bill goes from $336 for cable to $119? I plan on keeping services for years...

Many service providers (pay TV and others) no longer prorate service if you cancel. So yes you pay for the entire service month. A BBB complaint doesn't change their billing policy. That is more for when there is an issue, or unique situation, that cannot be addressed by regular support. Being billed correctly, even if you disagree with the policy, is not for the BBB. But yes, read the documentation (Terms of Service/Fine Print) is always the right thing to do.

Make sure to be absolutely sure the channels you want are available, both in the package and where you live (local channels and Regional Sports Networks). For DIRECTV STREAM: https://streamtv.directv.com/channels/

With DIRECTV STREAM it is a bring your own device, so Roku, Firestick, etc. to download the app on. The newer streaming option DirecTV via Internet is more traditional like regular DirecTV (satellite) where you must use the proprietary box and have similar monthly fees as well as your 24 month service agreement.
