Warranty Replacement Receiver and Remote
Couple of questions: First, I received a replacement warranty receiver with a new remote. When returning the old receiver, do I need to return the remote (with satellite they never wanted the remote back)? Second, can the old box and power cord be dropped off at a Fed Ex like satellite or is it necessary to use USPS (the return label in the box)? There are no clear instructions, as the insert with the label has to do with returning a purchased or leased box no longer than the 14 day remorse period. It would be nice to have a spare remote.

When I did a warranty box exchange I sent them back the old streaming box and the cords I kept the remote. I used the shipping label that they sent in the box so I didn't have to pay anything to return it. They did not seem to care that I kept the remote as nothing was ever said about sending back the remote even though I asked about it. So I would keep it! It was a good thing that I kept the remote because I needed it a couple of months later when one of my other Directv Streaming remotes stopped working. Hope this helps!
