I don't recall DirecTV having such a pack. Though Dish Network had one called that a few years ago.

Yes, my bill states the same thing.   It says "Good news!  Your have access to 10 add'l channels for 12 mos. at no extra cots.  Add'l details included."  But that's the problem there are no additional details.  Then down in the Account Activity it states:   DIRECTV Appreciation Pack - 12 Month offer until 10/26.

Hello @kimba1978, we're happy to help clearing this up.

The appreciation pack is an add-on that includes 10 of our most popular channels, a select group of existing DIRECTV customers that have SELECT and ENTERTAINMENT packages will get it for free for 12 months.

These are the channels you can enjoy with it:

GSN -233
NICKTOONS-302
UP TV-338
Logo-272
BET Her- 330
BBC World News-346
AWE (A Wealth of Entertainment)-387
Cheddar News-354
MTV Classic-336
Tastemade-235

If you have additional questions, please let us know.

Okay so direct tv called me about three weeks ago and said they were giving me the showtime appreciation pack, it would be free for a certain amount of time. I told them I did not want it and please don't add it to my line up. They did anyways. And now I am being charged for showtime. I did not want it, stated I didn't want it,  now I have been charged for a month and a half. It's bad enough they keep raising the price, now they're deciding to add channels and charge me even more. And they wonder why people are canceling?!?! Nice way to treat a loyal 8 year customer. Bye, bye direct tv.......
