Billing Issue/Address Issue

I called last month because I didn't see an amount that needed to be paid for my service. The rep told me I had no bill due this month. Now I am being charged a late fee, last month's bill and this month's bill. Also 3/4 month's ago I called to cancel services and they said they would get my bill down fo $47 and I said okay fine. Month's later I have never ever seen that $47 bill. I have been a loyal customer for so long and I have been treated terribly. I will not be paying for last month's bill or this month because I have been continuously lied to. Also on my billing statements my address is wrong. It says 908 Lael Dr. That is not my address so have I been paying for someone else's bill this whole time?!

First off, unless you have the Family Package, the bill will never be $47. With that out of the way, there’s no such thing as not having to pay your DIRECTV bill for two months. That rep was out of their mind for lying to you. Also, the fact that your address is wrong could mean a hacker gained access to your account or some degree of fraud took place. Whatever happens, you’ll still need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) because we are customers just like you with no access to accounts whatsoever. Be sure to tell the robot ‘billing’ to be sent to the billing department. If billing doesn’t offer help, you can definitely try a BBB complaint.
