Cancel directv

this is a customer populated forum and not the way to cancel service, you must call them to cancel, keep in mind they dont prorate the final month so if your in the middle of your billing cycle you still pay for the full month.

You'll need to call 800.531.5000 for this; say 'Cancel' at the prompt.

You have to call to cancel, just like other companies. Posting in a public forum does nothing for your account.

Also be advised it will not be canceled "now" as you were requesting. As of a couple years ago they no longer prorate the bill, so cancellation goes through at the end of the service month no matter how many days you are into your cycle.

Depends on the models of each box on what they require back (if anything).

The OP may actually be talking about the streaming service, formerly known as Directv Now, now called AT&T TV Now.

If you mean DirecTV (satellite) then you have to call.

If it is AT&T TV NOW (streaming) which used to be called DIRECTV NOW, then their support has been on the website.

But either way this is a public forum so nothing will affect your account here.
