How you bill

my name is eric [EDITED]

my ex phone number with you was [EDITED number]. i live at [EDITED Address] las vegas, nv 89148 email is [EDITED - email]

You finally got it right as to disconnecting my cell from your overpriced and useless service. You billed me $119 to pay off my phone. I bought my phone at Walmart and paid for it totally. I did not have anything from you. I am stopping payment.

You are also trying to bill me for your, again, over priced Direct TV service... it has been down for quite some time... i will not be paying this bill.

If you want a copy of the invoice from Walmart just let me know..

I find it ever so interesting that a company who SCREAMS customer service at every junction..... has no way to write an email or call... so all you offer is a community forum..... WHAT THE (Edited per community guidelines) IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??.. Since this is an open forum I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM ALL OF THE MEMBERS THAT VERIZON WILL PROVIDE 3 PHONES AND THE TOTAL LINE CHARGE IS $20.00 MORE THAN A SINGLE LINE WITH ATT... ADDITIONALLY PULL YOUR CABLE FROM THEM... USE WIRELESS ON ALL YOUR TV'S AND YOU WILL GET BY WITH ALL THE CHANNELS AVAILABLE. MY MONTHLY BILL IS $9.99 X 2 FOR STATIONS I SIGNED UP FOR... THE REST ARE FREE.

On behalf of myself and my family....we are so happy to be gone... who is going to pull down this dish you bolted to my home...???

I don't know what you hope to gain by posting here. We are not ATT and not Directv, we are all users here. For all I know, ATT and directv are just following what's written in the contracts and just because you don't like it does not mean they are wrong.

Thanks TX... when i Googled how to get in touch with Customer Service it indicated that they had no email or phone and suggested this forum... I understand that they may follow the rules, as they see them, i have the back up on all of this..

Per chance, do you know of a way to contact them... ??

Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated.

Eric

@eschwar50 for security purposes, we will need to take the interaction in private in order to protect your information, and that way be able to assist with your DIRECTV concerns.

You will find the private chat in the upper right corner of this same page, it is the chat icon next to the bell icon.

DTV doesn't use email for support, you call them at 1-800-531-5000

@eschwar50

This is a public forum of other customers. So posting personal info is against the forum rules for your privacy and protection.

AT&T/DirecTV do not have the option of sending an email for support. The process is that you call them. The official "help" team on the forum is not a replacement for customer support, more for guidance so their options to assist can be limited. The intention is customer support is live and real time. Not a back and forth impersonal email communication just because you don't want to speak to a person.

If by your DirecTV service being "down" you mean you canceled, remember you still pay for the entire service month no matter when within it you called to cancel. There is no proration of the final bill. Now if you are being billed for a service month that started after you called to cancel, then there would be an issue.

As for who is going to pull down the dish, that would be you. Upon install everything but the receiver/client boxes becomes your property. You ship the receiver/client boxes back (if still returnable model). Everything else is up to you what you do with it. Now it is suggested to at least leave the mounting plate from the receiving dish to minimize the risk of any leaks, but that is your choice.
