mlb.tv MLB Extra Innings DirecTV Verification NOT working
When trying to verify my Extra Innings subscription from mlb.tv, receiving the following:
Activation Error
We were unable to verify your subscription access with DIRECTV. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact your provider's customer support.
Customer Service Code: VALIDATE_INVALID User Not Entitled For Adobe Resource [ADOBE_MLBTV]
Contacted DirecTV customer support weeks ago, was told to wait till Opening Day and it should work. It is now Opening Day and it is not working. Persused your forums, saw the issue logged by other users with response from AT&T instructing us to go to the very link and verification process that is causing the issue.
I called customer support again and the rep was clueless, couldnt even pull up my account information.
Is there anyone at your company that can perform basic troubleshooting without the use of some predefined script?
One of your marquee selling points for MLB Extra Innings is that MLB.TV comes free with the subscription, and it is not working. We have already missed all of the spring training games and are now set to miss Opening Day games if we need to use mlb.tv.

Same issue here, I did the same thing you did and contacted them before today and got the same response, it should work on Opening Day, but alas, here we all are. Of course, we won't get any refunds either when it doesn't work for another few days... I CANT WAIT TO LEAVE DIRECTV!!!!

Not sure what happened, but it magically started working while I was on the phone with a competent support rep, though she said she didn't do anything. I gave her credit anyway.
