My Directv email address does not work

I am trying to get to my directv account. I know the email address for my user I’d is correct, since I have received emails from AT&T at that address. I spent over an hour on the phone with Directv today and they say that I don’t know my User ID and they can’t reset it. HELP!

Your contact email on file and email used as a user ID aren't automatically the same. So a typo in one could be the issue. Though there is also the unified login that integration has caused some issues.

Try the regular option to reset the login like the official AT&T Help suggests. If that doesn't work, you may need to call and request the web unlock team (or whatever the department is called now) reset the online access entirely. Integrating the DirecTV website to the AT&T one with logins has had some bumps along the way.

Though do try logging into the legacy DirecTV website first to see if it allows you in or gives you the method of finishing the integration. www.directv.com
