We recieved a statement in the mail stating that there was a credit on the account. How do we go about getting that refund?

If your account has been closed, any account balance left should automatically be sent to the account address. You don’t need to do anything. If your account isn’t closed, the credit will be applied to your next bill, not refunded.

Credit on the account stays and makes your next bill that much lower.
However, if your account is closed and leaves a credit balance (rare as they no longer prorate cancellation), then historically by 30 days later they issue the refund. That is done by rewards card in that situation.
