Refund
I closed my DIRECTV account and had a credit on my account. About a month ago, I received an updated bill indicating a refund was issued but I haven’t received anything. Do they send a check or do they credit the credit card used to make monthly payments?

If there is a remaining credit balance, it is issued by a prepaid card mailed to you. Unfortunately they don't send it directly to the primary card on file anymore.
However, it is very unusual to have a credit balance. For almost 4 years (since Jan 2019), the final bill is not prorated so you are not credited for unused days if you cancel mid-cycle.
