What Mini Genie model number?

What 10-pin cable did you buy? From where? Are you sure it's the correct cable?

How are you connecting the video to your TV? Composite? Component?

Perhaps a video setting on your TV for that Video INPUT?

We don't know what cable you bought from Amazon. Perhaps it's not the correct cable for the C61K 10-pin video?

Maybe try it with a different TV? Or verify a different composite video device with that TV?

It's a pretty simple connection.  Do see any video when the C61 is booting up?

You might also try connecting the C61 to a TV with an HDMI INPUT to verify that its video is working.

Perhaps a bad cable?  Clearly the C61 video output is working.

If you have another Mini Genie Client, I would try the cable on that one. If it still doesn't work, then you got a bad cable. But if it does, then possibly that specific C61 has a damaged A/V out port.

Hi, @Macbookg4 , thanks for bring this to our attention and I'm ready to help!

As you're not able to see video, you may need to check the correct order of the composite video jacks, as if they are not in the proper order you'll not be able to obtain video on your TV

Also you may try by changing the TV input using your remote, perhaps the TV is not in the correct input

If the TV has a HDMI input try as well connecting your DIRECTV receiver using a HDMI cable as it has the best quality video transmission

Please let us know how it went, we'll be here to help.

Assuming you are using the correctv 10-pin cable (there are two, one for a composite connection and one for component), then make sure there is no cable connected to the C61 HDMI connector. If there is a cable connected to the HDMI connector on the C61 the composite output won/t work.

Post back and tell us the situation.
