C61K and HDMI Splitter Compatibility?

I bought a 4K HDMI splitter for my two tvs. One is 4K and the other 1080P. The C61K signal works fine through the splitter to the1080P TV but on the 4K TV I get horizontal static lines. If I connect the C61K straight tothe 4K TV there is no problem. If I connect my Roku 4K through the splitter there is no problem. I've checked all the resolutions and unchecked them. Makes no difference. So there is something about the DTV signal that the splitter doesn't like.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Is there something unique about the DTV signal versus other sources, like the Roku?

Good morning @jackb12,

We're happy to help! Are you experiencing this screen on specific channels or all channels?

Also, is your Splitter a 2-Way, 4-Way, or 8-Way Band?

The cause could be your splitter is 60 hz and the sony80j is a 120hz --just a thought

Mysteriously it worked on Channel 104, the 4K channel. The it worked on all the rest of the channels. What do you think happened there? I did not try 104 last night when I incurred the problem. So somehow the 4K signal from the C61K kicked the splitter into working.

What splitter are you using? I have a C61K that I'm trying to output on two TV's and I lose picture every time I change the channel.  It seems like the guide or the channel bar is downconverting the signal then the TV tries to renegotiate the resolution.
