yes, this is an AM21 (N) antenna module related issue with the local channel signal strength. I would recommend checking that the USB-B cord connecting the module to the receiver is tight and that the coax from the module to the antenna is good. Next, simply try changing the direction of the antenna until the signal on the local channel increases. If you have a model (H20 or HR20) receiver, then you will not be using the module, you will be using the Off-air in port. The steps for the model H20 or HR20 receiver is the same except the module is not needed. Change the direction of the antenna around until the signal of the local channel changes.
detuch - I think you are just guessing that he has an AM21. It's possible, but far more likely that he has his TV set to the antenna input and since he does not have an antenna he gets the low signal strength message,

I’ve had directv for 18 years never seen that error. Perhaps another customer has seen it and has a resolution

Sounds like you are on an ANT channel not DTV.

The "Digital Channels" would be regular over-the-air (OTA) antenna channels. These are not the ones received by DirecTV's satellite service.
Either you are on your TV's ANT input, or you have an old option that allows you to connect your antenna to your DirecTV box.

Juniper's post is probably correct. This is nothing to do with your directv signal. You have your TV set to the antenna input instead of directv.
