Commercial D12 100 costomers
I am located on remote facility in the gulf of Mexico with several old D12 100 receivers. I have been reading through the forums and other post across the web that these units will soon loose their capability as Direct Tv will be shutting down their SD signal eventually. Will this affect the commercial subscribers too, or is this only for residential customers?
We do have several issues with several of the boxes anyway. Would there be a cost involved with the swap out of equipment?

Yes, they could probably swap out the D12-100s for H25s and change your whole dish and system to HD and SWM.

DTV has a free swap program for residential customers unlikely there is one for commercial customers, all you can do is contact DTV commercial.
SD comes from the 101 sat that has been in service for 30 years some say it is in good shape and will continue to send selected SD programs in MPEG4 that the D12 can't use.
