Customer Service

We had error code 775 come up. Called to have service tech check system. He showed up and did terrible job replacing the cable from the dish to the house. Laid interior cable across gravel driveway, cable bent in several locations. Cable not grounded.  Drilled two holes in the living room wall, used one and left the other open. Stated it was not his job to bury the cable or go into the crawl space. 

Called DIRECTV to complain about that, scheduled another tech to come out. Called him and left messages but he never showed up or returned my calls. 

Contacted DIRECTV again and scheduled another service tech to come out.

The same tech that did the first repair job showed up and refused to do anything and just left. 

Now I contacted DIRECTV to have another service call to fix the problem.

 East Coast Installs LLC Jack Dutton and Cass Dutton are responsible for this mess.

Yeah, that's pretty lame. A "775 error" generally has nothing to do with your coax cable. That error means that power isn't getting to the satellite dish. That's usually fixed by replacing a power inserter or verifying that the coax cable connectors are snug and that the dish LNB is good. Hope you can get a more qualified tech out to fix this. A complaint to the BBB often yields prompt results.
