Delete Locations

Why did my main Genie ask me to delete locations for my other mini Genie receivers? How can I repair the "video connection lost" now appearing from those deleted mini Genie locations?

When a Genie asks you to delete locations, it means it is paired with more than it thinks is authorized. Locations deleted will not receive video as they have been removed.

Log into your account and verify you are authorized for the correct number of TVs. If so then use www.directv.com/refresh to refresh the service authorizations as well as a red button reset of at least the main Genie. Then pair (add) your other locations again.

However if your account reflects less TVs authorized, you will need to call DirecTV to make sure the correct number are active before pairing them again.
