Diectv Remotes and software issues
When will Directv do something with the remotes and how they interact with the RCVRs. So tired of pressing buttons and nothing happening... You start to RW/FF and 10 min later you finally get it to stop.. You pres Guide/list and nothing over and over..
is it bad remotes or bad software.
You can see the remote flash sending the signal so why isnt the RCVR doing anything..

I have a dozen so i suspect its all sorts of ones. its a DVR issue since you cant do that on the non dvr boxes.
finally got rid of the awful TIVO dvr they made me use for years though.

I've fixed the same issue by replacing the remote -with a new one
