Directv combo modem router
Putting TV on the wall and trying to have less clutter. Have DTV sat service to my Genie Gen3 HR54-500 modem. Modem links to three other rooms 1 with genie Mini C41-700, 1 with wireless video Bridge C61-500, 1 with wireless video bridge C61-200. Have Centurylink DSL service to a separate wireless router. Any way to combine the two? Side question, big deal to have either unit on the wall behind the TV?

The Genie does not connect through your modem to the Mini Genies.
Gateway (modem/router combo) connects to Genie for On Demand.
Genie connects via coax to Mini Genie Clients.
Genie connects via WVB only to models with W (C41W or C61W).
The Genie feeds the internet connection to the other boxes.
There is no way to combine a router and the WVB. One is for internet the other for connecting wireless clients to the main Genie, which is a proprietary wireless network only for your DirecTV boxes.

We'd like to clarify this for you. First, thank to @Juniper for the prompt response and accurate information. Both the DIRECTV equipment and the Century link needs to work separate therefore it can't be combined.
In case you need to relocate any DIRECTV box you can contact us back we'll be happy to help you.

Thanks for the follow up. I was just hoping but did not figure it was possible. However, I am going to leave my DTV modem in my floor level Audio/Equipment credenza. For that I need to decide cable runs. Currently as in my post, the DTV cable is up on the wall where my TV will be. The cable currently runs down the exterior of this interior wall (visable) and I need to hide it in the wall. There is a splitter partway down the wall, one side to the modem the other into a DCAU1RO-01 connected home adapter, home adapter is connected to my CenturyLink router with an ethernet cable. First question, other than this piece that is using my internet to gather data about me, what might it be doing for me?
Assume I keep the home adapter in use (not sure), I'm sure it should not be in the wall. So get more coax and extend the main line down in the wall, come out the bottom an have the splitter and home adapter by the modem? then rum the HDMI from modem in wall back to the TV? OR-- get an in wall box to mount the modem in behind the TV? Then I am just running HDMI cables from tuner and disk player up inside the wall? No problem for the DTV modem to be behind the TV?
One thing I did solve is to get my LG C1 tv magic remote to operate the DTV box.

The dcauiro is NOT needed all you need is a lan cable connected to your hr54. --Connect the lan direct to your router -the HR54 Does internal what that adapter does so it is NOT needed.
your Wireless bridge only connects to the wireless clients on their own NETWORK --you can move it anywhere (be warned) that may block wireless signal and cause viewing issues in another room .
the d10 adapter Converts signal data to be carried over RG6 Coax --it doesnot collect data only sends it as I pointed out before your hR54 does that internal and that adapter is no longer needed at your router.

Just to be technically correct, your HR54 is not a modem.

Thanks to all. So what is my HR54 called if not technically a modem? I did remove the DCAU adapter, guess its main purpose was marketing data for DTV? Won't need the splitter either. That simplifies things a bit. Think mounting the HR54 in a wall box behind the tv is the direction to take. Bracket for the tv will have a large opening in the center of the bracket for the box. Thanks again to all.

A modem is how you get internet. Most are a combo unit, meaning they have a router built-in as well.
DirecTV is not an internet provider so they don't have modems at all.
The HR54 is the 3rd generation Genie. The Genie is DirecTV's Advanced Whole Home HDDVR. It is a satellite TV receiver, or set-top-box (stb), in general.
Modem gives you internet.
DirecTV boxes give you TV.

All TV providers collect anonymous viewing data and it is the HR54 that collects it not the DECA adapter.
