Directv Genie
When I start up, Directv starts to load, but when I click on a channel, the screen turns to snow with static sound. I'm paid up and have many channels on my account. Other TVs and Genies in the house work fine. Whats wrong?

Also, have you tried a different HDMI cable/port? This sounds like a handshake issue with the receiver and TV, but could be something else. Additionally, have you tried a red button reset (side by the access card for HR54 series or front where it says ‘PUSH’)? Any changes that you are aware of that could have caused this? What are the receiver models of all of the boxes, as well as the one you are having specific issues with?

By any chance is your remote an RC6X series? Sounds like your TV is changing from the HDMI input to regular antenna TV (hence snow/static). If that is your remote, make sure mode selection switch at the top is all the way to under the DirecTV logo.
If that doesn't work, then please share models of all boxes, clarify which one is the issue, how it is connected to the TV, and what remote is used for that one.
