DVR Content on a Computer
How do I see, manage, and watch recorded content with my PC? When I try to go through the directv websitre and click on manage DVR, it will not show any of the TV programs I have recorded. I only see movies that I purchased in my playlist. How do I see all of the other recordings?

You cannot watch DVR recordings on a computer. The manage option is for scheduling shows to record. If you have PPVs that were available from On Demand, then you may be able to watch those as it pull them from online (not the DVR itself).
DVR recordings can be temporarily transferred to a mobile device (smart phone or tablet) for on the go viewing. Only authorized for 30 days and not allowed to cast/stream to another device. Requires 2nd generation Genie (HR44) or newer for this feature.
Sorry but to prevent unauthorized viewing what is on the DVR cannot move to a computer.
