DVR freezing

When a recorded show is paused, it will not restart until I push the red reset button and reset the whole system.

The resume button doesn't do anything? We need more information like the receiver model, does this happen on all recordings, and since when? Could be an issue with the remote control button or a hard drive issue.

No, the resume button does nothing, all recordings stay frozen. Model # C41-700 on the secondary boxes not sure about the main box. It has only started doing this over the past week and it does happen on all receivers including the main receiver in the living room.

Also, all recordings rewind and fast forward with no issues.

Does it happen with all receivers or only certain ones? If it happens on only one, it could be a bad remote. If it happens on all, try clicking the red reset button on the MAIN box, not the Genie clients.
