Equipment explanation

I want to add one tv using wireless equipment.  I currently have the Genie Gen 2 HR44-700 along with a DVR.  Does the wireless devices connect by blue tooth to the tv which also needs blue tooth capabilities? Also, the equipment I am told I need are the wireless bridge device that connects to the cable with a splitter, and a wireless receiver.  I see there are two receiver's available, C41W and C61W.  Does anyone know the difference?  One better than the other?

DirecTV does not use Bluetooth for its wireless Mini Genie boxes. They use a proprietary WiFi link. You'll need the Wireless Video Bridge to establish that link with the C41W or C61W. Both of those models are pretty much functionally identical. Most likely DirecTV will insist on sending a tech to install this setup for you.

All DTV HD receivers use HDMI cables to connect to the TV,  DTV doesn't use Bluetooth for anything.  There is no difference between the specs the C41W and the C61W are built to but the C61W is the newer one with a newer better chips.

DirecTV does not use Bluetooth at all.

The only wireless boxes are two models of Mini Genie Clients, C41W and C61W. They are wired to the TV itself by HDMI just like anything else.

You need a wireless video bridge (WVB) installed (wired) on the coax. This provides a proprietary WiFi network for the wireless Clients only.

The wireless setup fee is $99. Unlike receiver and client boxes, the WVB is an owned accessory.
