Espn, espn 2, and golf Channel freezing for a split second
I have been having issues ever since getting genie 2. Espn, espn 2, and golf Channel will freeze for a split second randomly but only during live broadcasts. Changing the Channel and changing it back will correct the problem at times. I have reset everything multiple times and also forced downloads for updates. This is driving me crazy!!! Directv was here yesterday and forced downloads as well. Problem still exists

check your signals on 99ca tps 21 and 23 and post back with the numbers.
Also, Forcing downloads is a waste of time (apart from being dangerous because you might get a beta test release which could brick your receiver).

So it's nothing to do with signal strength. I suspect it's something to do with the source signal. But it does not seem to be a problem for me.
