Genie Gen 3 Model # HR54-700
My Genie G2 Gen 3 model HR54-700 suddenly is louder than normal. We had two power outtages the other day, lasting only 1 minute each. My Genie and TV was not on. Ever since then, it is noisier than it was before. What to do?

No you are not understanding the issue. The FAN on my Genie Gen 3 HR 54-700 is making more noise than usual. The fan is loud.

There are only 2 moving parts in the Genie .... the hard drive and the fan. If the Genie isn't overheating and the fan is too loud, then you'll need to have the Genie replaced.
