Genie mini

My genie mini is hot to the touch but doesn't seem to have problems running shows and stuff is it getting temperature warm normal?

Hey @JBurien!

 

We hear you and we want to help, here are some tips to avoid the receiver getting overheated.


  • Put it in a well-ventilated area and leave space on all sides of it.
  • Keep the vents free of dust and debris.
  • Don’t put it directly on top of or underneath your TV or other devices.
  • Don’t put it on a soft surface like a rug or blanket. This causes the heat to insulate.

They do run hot but there's probably nothing to worry about
