Genie2 - New receivers out of range

I have a Genie2 and recently got two Genie wireless receivers to put on the other end of the house upstairs. One can plug in with a solid yellow light so I think that is okay but in the other room I get it blinking red so believe it is out of range. Rooms are right next to each other. I have considered moving my Genie2 to the other side of my downstairs TV (where it is now) in case the angle might help (case something is blocking it). If I move the Genie2 about 10 feet can I just move it or should I disconnect from power? If that does not help, does Directv provide anything that can be used to boost the signal to other parts of the house?

DTV or you can add another WVB using coax to connect it to the SWM splitter to get it closer to the minis.
