How do i fix Signal problems
Any hint of rain or cloudy weather interrupts my service. I've had direct tv for 8 years and this has never been an issue before, it still works fine in completely clear skies. Any chance anyone knows whats going on or how to fix it?

Yes, the dish needs to be aligned there are videos on youtube if you want to try it yourself otherwise you need to call DTV to setup a tech visit. While a properly aligned dish will minimize rain fade it can't be eliminated.

After 8 years the alignment probably is off a bit (settling of home, weather knocking it about, new growth or buildings that could interfere with line of sight, etc.). Call DirecTV to schedule a realignment.
There are also videos online (such as YouTube) if you are someone who would prefer to do that yourself.
