You can call, chat with a DIRECTV representative on your computer, phone, or tablet, or simply login to your DIRECTV account, select "My Equipment", select the receiver that you want to refresh, and click "Refresh Receiver." (Note: The receiver you are trying to refresh must be turned on and connected to satellite 101.)

You can call, but also do it yourself. www.directv.com/refresh
If you have any Genie setup, the refresh of the main Genie counts for any Clients (Mini Genie or RVU TV) as they get their info from the main box.
