Samsung "smart" TVs seem to have a bad track record when it comes to DirecTV. That may or may not be the cause of your issue.
Make sure that neither DirecTV box or TV are plugged into a 'smart' power strip.
Check that HDMI is secure on both ends.
You may need to try a different HDMI cord, or even input on the TV.
If TV has the option, turn off HDMI-CEC.
Now if it is the Gemini (C71KW), that being used for DirecTV (satellite) is new. It was originally designed for DIRECTV STREAM (AT&T TV or other earlier names). So there may be still some weird interactions when used with the traditional satellite service.
A 'smart' power strip, unlike a basic one or proper surge protector, is designed with options to cut power to devices by detecting them in 'standby' mode. DirecTV's equipment doesn't handle that well as it is built with its own power saving options. Sometimes this causes odd interactions as the equipment is not receiving power properly for normal operations.
So either plugged directly into the wall or a normal surge protector is suggested instead.
Smart power strips usually have a grey master outlet that is the sensing outlet that would have the TV plugged into it to turn off/on all the other outlets when it is turned off/on
Again I remind you to please keep your questions in the dbstalk forum. You've asked these same questions there and had them answered. I know it's difficult for you to understand the answers, but you won't get any different answers here.

The only shut off for DTV receivers is the power saver mode that returns the receiver to standby mode after four hours after no remote usage.

DirecTV doesn't make power strips.
Power strip is what you buy yourself to plug into a wall outlet to give multiple power outlets.
I cannot see your power strip so don't know what kind you might have.
