Is it possible to add receiver to second location (like an RV).

I have an RV at my house.  I would like to know if I can hook my cable up in the RV also (add an additional receiver to the RV).  How far from the dish can a receiver be?  Or will I have to add a new 2nd dish for the RV?  Is that possible for one account?

Sure, you can add more receivers to your account. Let's get some more details so we can help guide your options ....

How far is the RV from your satellite dish?

What are the model numbers of your current DVRs & Receivers?

When was your equipment installed?

Do you want to travel with DirecTV in that RV, or is it fixed at your home?

About a 100 yards or less.

H24-200
H21-100
HR44-700
C61-500
C41-500

The dish maybe 10 years ago. Some receivers about 5 years or longer and others about 2 years.

The RV will be fixed.

100 yards (300 feet) is pushing things when running standard RG6 coax cable. You might be able to successfully connect an HD Receiver that far away. You already have a lot of equipment, though. Do you know where your SWM coax cable splitter(s) is located? If you have an unused splitter output perhaps it's closer than 300 feet. Really hard to say without knowing exactly how your current equipment is wired.
