Is there a wireless stream option?
My wife's house has DirecTV. There is an HR-54 DVR and a spare client but the room that my main TV will be in has no RG6. For some reason it was cut just before entering the house. The hole in the wall is there on the outside but not on the inside. I've run a coat hanger through from the outside enough that it would be visible inside but again, no hole. The basement ceiling has been drywalled ((Edited per community guidelines)?) so I can't find it there. I checked the play store from my Nvidia Shield but there doesn't seem to be an app for streaming. Can this not be done?

Yes, it can. You posted in the DIRECTV STREAM forum for a DIRECTV satellite matter.
Anyways, as long as your wife isn’t using three Genie mini clients right now, you can get a Wireless Genie mini client. This does not require coax and uses a WIRELESS VIDEO BRIDGE (WVB) to deliver live TV.
To get this equipment, she’ll need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below)

If she already has 3 Clients, then a regular HDDVR (last model HR24) would be ideal. This is because the regular Genie line (HR54 is 3rd generation) only supports up to 3 Clients in use at one time. Unlike Clients, regular boxes do not have a wireless option.
Couple notes for the WVB. One it is up to 80 feet under ideal conditions to the Client. And the WVB is wired onto the coax itself. The WVB is for if you have Clients you want to move around every so often or you have a location that is not good to run coax.
Ordering through DirecTV and then wire the coax for you as needed if you go that route. Going wireless, there is a $99 Wireless Setup Fee which covers the WVB which is an owned accessory.
There is no app for DirecTV to stream to a TV. This is because you pay for each TV on the service. The DirecTV app is for on mobile devices only (smart phone or tablet). DirecTV is satellite service, not to be confused with DIRECTV STREAM which is a streaming-only provider that has nothing to do with the satellite service.
