Keep having to reset receiver

We keep losing picture/sound. We have to reset the receiver in order to get it back on. We are having to do this multiple times a day.  What could be the issue?

What receiver model number?

When did the problem start?

Is this your only DirecTV box? Do other boxes have the same issue?

Have you checked the cable connection between the DirecTV box and your TV?
