LG app scroll
My lg tv powers up from my DirecTv clicker with a horizontal scroll line of what I guess are lg apps. If I touch nothing, it goes away in 5 seconds or so. But, if I do, it gets stuck and I must use the lg clicker “back” button to vanish it. Is there no way to vanish it with your clicker?

Sounds like the TV is starting up on the ANT input instead of the DTV input.

Check your TV manual.

What button on your LG remote is used to access the tv "apps" ? J would check to make sure the button isn't stuck, also what input displays on the screen when the tv is turned on? If it's pulling up the apps on the bottom then your tv is more than likely on the wrong input

Button not stuck on the lg clicker. I can toggle the display on and off easily. TV starts up from Directv clicker with normal display. After a couple of seconds the scroll appears and after about 5 seconds it goes away on it on if no other button is used. Perusing the Directv setting I see no “input” setting.

On the RC7X remotes you have to press and hold the enter button until the light flashes twice release and press again to cycle through the inputs.

RC7X is the DTV remote not the LG remote.
