Move coaxial outlet

Purchasing a new home and noticed the coax jack in finished basement is on opposite wall from where I want the TV. Can the tech add a new coax jack on the wall I want during install? Or should I go with the wireless genie?

Because we are unable to see your wall in-person, I would recommend having the technician come over and decide. If the jack is on the opposite wall, the tech may be able to drill new holes and route it to where you have the receiver. But, if the technician claims that the job is not possible, I would recommend going with a wireless Genie.

If you are able to show a picture or video of the jack and where you want it to go, that would be much appreciated.

Hello @Unicornmom, thanks for reaching out to us.

The technician needs to analyze if they can add a new coax jack on your wall during the tech visit. Please let us know if you would like us to schedule a tech appointment for you.

Also, here is more information on DirecTV wireless Genie.

Please let us know if this helps.
