No sound through receiver.

This occurred after a lightning storm. All HDMI cables are new

HDMI ports are easy fried by nearby lighting strikes so you need to determine if it is the DTV receiver or the TV or both.

First have you reset the receiver?

Have you tried moving the receiver hdim cord to another tv input?

If that fails connect a red & white cord from the receiver to the tv .

Move the receiver to another tv if possible.
