Pairing request
Since I got the new Genie's (YUK), my TV's turn on randomly by themselves and display the screen "pairing request" with a number. Not sure why, but I have to unplug my Genie's before going to bed.

Golden, I have asked you a question twice now, very simple question, can you put aside just being upset and answer it? Otherwise I give up helping on this one.
here it is again:
"golden: so you have the Gemini, which like to run in Bluetooth mode, how many do you have, and are you perhaps using one remote with the "wrong" Gemini?'
Please, no one post after this, i think golden is just reading the last post, and missing my question.

I’ll answer that since I’m having the exact same problem as golden. I have three Gemini boxes and each one has a dedicated remote. I don’t know how to tell, but I assume they’re all running on Bluetooth.

I have Gemini receivers. 4 of them. They each have their own remote and were set up when they were activated.

OK, now, do you have the remotes so they cannot get mixed up between rooms? (I labelled mine).
My theory is that use the "wrong" remote, and (especially if you have similar tvs) you operate the remote, the Gemini "sees" the IR and hears the bluetooth, but they don't "match" that Gemini... so the TV turns on (IR) but the Gemini is not paired with THAT remote and requests pairing..
This seems to be a reasonable theory. You might actually want to unpair your remotes, and re-pair them one by one... setting up from scratch, and of course labelling the remotes to be sure you don't use the wrong one.
just my theory, but at least something you can try yourself.

The tv's turn on with NO one touching the remote. I'm not sure what the remotes have to do with this. I can be in my office in with all the TV's off and a random TV turns on. Both TV's are LG, but even an older one is affected.

Ok golden now we’re getting somewhere. I have three LG OLED TVs and one Samsung QLED. The pairing request message I’m getting says:
Device pairing request
Enter the following code on your LGwebOS TV to control this device
Number/alpha code
I have one 77 inch LG OLED That was not affected because it did not have a Gemini device connected to it. All the other TVs that would come on automatically with that pairing request had Gemini devices attached.
so here’s a big clue. Can someone figure it out?

OK, so maybe turn off Bluetooth on your TV temporarily? (Assuming it will function on IR).
So the BT signal from a remote is waking a lot of your TVs because they want to pair...
Maybe just turn off the "listening for new bt devices" on your TV?

I'll have to see if that is an option. Never knew my TV's had bluetooth.

Well, it wants to pair with your remote, I have 2 LG TVs and one uses BT and IR.
Go through the settings and see what you can do... the TV settings with the TV remote, not the DTV settings.
I think many TVs are in "autodiscovery" mode, always looking for a BT device to pair with. Sure seems like the case for you.

My LG TV doesn’t have Bluetooth that I can see…and the mystery continues.

umm.... lots of LG tv's have bluetooth... and can be paired to soundbars...
google "lg tv bluetooth" to convince yourself... and there's more complexity... in any case, I am not convinced this is DTVs issue, rather than your RV trying to pair with other devices... no offense, but have you read the manual on your TV? I'd be willing to look it up for you, give me the model number of one of your TVs that shows the pairing message.

All I know is this. My LGC1 48" TV was affected, my LGC2 77" was affected, my Samsung QLED 82" was affected. They were all hooked to Direct TV Stream boxes.
The only TV that was NOT affected was my LGC1 77" in my livingroom. It had NO Direct TV Stream box attached to it.
So, it has something to do with the DTV Stream boxes and LG TV's (I think).
Is it the box? Is it the LG TV's? Don't know.

Trying to help, but "golden" is the original poster, so trying to help them.
I realize it is frustrating, but without some more information, or experimentation, all we can do is endlessly guess.

That's why I posted what I did because it's a clue to the problem. Since golden and I (and others elsewhere on the internet) are having the SAME problem, I was just trying to provide as much info as possible so that others on the forum might be able to help, OR, Direct TV HELP might read it and help.
I've participated in a lot of forums and don't ever remember anyone being "excluded" because they had the same problem and were giving input. But, oh well.
