RC73 Remote
RC73 remote suddenly quit turning TV off and controlling volume. I can turn the TV on, change channels, go to menu, everything else, but can't turn TV off or control volume. I have been on chat with Directv for well over two hours, been on the phone with them for well over an hour, and still no help. I've re-paired the remote, reset the Genie box, and still nothing.

What is the receiver model? That happened with one of my remotes once and I replaced it with a cheap one on Amazon and that fixed the issue. If you decide to get a replacement then do get the same model RC73.
