Receiver to work with Winegard carryout G3
I have a D12-100 receiver and wonder if that works with Winegard carryout G3. I hooked it up but not working right now.

The D12 should work with that dish. But realize that this dish only receives signals from the 101ºW satellite, and only SD channels. Sadly, those are being phased out and have already been shut down in some areas. Your idea is not a good long term solution.

The D12 used to work with the G3.
Problem is, DirecTV has been shutting down their MPEG-2/SD-only feeds. Both that D12 and G3 are very outdated and should be recycled.
Assuming your D12 is already active on your account, you will need to call them for their compliementery MEPG swap (Do NOT say "upgrade"). For detailed guidance, what are the models of each box you have?
As for a RV or other mobile setup (since you mention the G3) you would need a slimline SWM dish on a tripod/sled mount or the Winegard Trav'ler.
