Recording cuts off the last 5-15 minutes of a show! Tv will randomly freeze other times.

This is really making me mad. The first couple times it happened I was mad, but let it go. Then as I was trying to watch a show that I had recorded the previous night (on past my bedtime), with about 10 minutes left in the show the DVR popped up asking me if I wanted to delete or not. I thought maybe I had bumped the remote so I tried again and the same thing. It shows that the show was recorded for the full hour, but when it gets to that point it stops and asks about deleting. This is becoming infuriating! What is the point of having a DVR if I'm going to miss the ends of the shows? I might as well not even watch them. I am trying to contact AT&T because I want a partial refund. Of course, their online chat won't load and I don't have the patience or time to sit on the phone all day.

Other issue- the tv will just randomly freeze. Sometimes in the evenings, sometimes during the day. A couple days ago it did it 3 times before I just turned the tv off completely. When it freezes, I have to turn the receiver off and back on (takes forever to start again). Sometimes that helps, other times it freezes again a few minutes later. Ever since AT&T has owned DirecTV it has gone downhill.
