Remote Sync

I need the code to sync my remote to my new Amazon FireTV Omni, this TV is not on any brand list and Directv Tech support was no help at all.

amazon isn't a brand of TV, it's a marketing name. The Tv is built by another manufacturer. Try TCL.

TCL is not listed as an option either, do you know what the number code is?

Have you tried using the receiver? to find the code? Reset your remote and start to reprogram it -- When you get to the program the TV --select (i don't know my model number) and follow the on-screen instructions.

Just had a return phone call from Directv, they are sending me a new remote, seems mine is universal and I need a different one for the Genie. Not sure about this have been using the same remote for 10 years. I also tried the RCA codes, second code seemed to work, it will now turn on Genie and the TV but will only turn off the Genie???? and the volume button works but seems to work intermittently.

When you get the "NEW" RC7X Remote --Allow the GENIE to find all the codes --When you put the batteries in --point it at the receiver and press the VOL button --and the program remote SCREEN will POP UP --Follow the onscreen instructions and select (i don't know my model number) and let the genie find the codes that work.
