remove receiver from service

How do I remove TV locations from my service

Are you referring to the Genie mini clients? And you would like to completely deactivate them? If so, call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and tell them the serial number of the Genie clients that you would like to deactivate. Be prepared to take a trip to a participating UPS or FedEx to return the equipment as it is leased. 

If you would like to deactivate a regular receiver (i.e. HD or HD-DVR or even standard SD receiver) then you must tell the rep the receiver model number, access card number, receiver ID, and possibly serial number.

Depends on the model number if they need it sent back.
