Wrong time on genie 2 hs17
Last night service for disconnected. Paid bill this morning and my box said set up satellite dish so I had to manually add my 3 receivers to my wireless client. Anyway, after talking to 3 different reps I finally got it working again. But with one big problem. The time is 4 hours ahead. I’ve hard reset, reconfigured my internet and no fix.

Unfortunately, it says auto and I can’t seem to change it

Under auto there is a drop-down menu where you can select your time zone.

Odd. That would be the only way to change it. You may try going online to DIRECTV.com, log into your account, go to Manage My Equipment, and Refresh Receiver for HS17. That will send down authorizations signals to the HS17 and hopefully it will get the right time based on the service address.
