I have noticed that when the HDTV DVR is left on and the TV is off when we turn the TV back on teh screen is Pink or Red. Can anyone explain this?

When I turned on the tv today, the screen was pink.  I reset the genie 2 multiple times and have changed the hdmi cable to a new one but still pink. But it is only pink when I try watching Direct TV.  When I watch Netflix or Prime video, the screen is fine.  It's just pink when I try watching Direct

About every 3rd. time I turn on my Direct TV/HDTV (Magnavox) the screen has a pink overcast to it, and the DTV remote can not control the sound. I contacted Magnavox about the problem.
