Stop with the pushy sales calls!
I’ve been a customer for many years. I would say satisfied - BUT - this is the third call I’ve gotten from hour pushy sales team saying (very quickly I might add) “as a thank you we are giving you an additional streaming (thing) for a cost of ($$) ok? I imagine some don’t hear the fast speaking with hard to understand dialect and say “ok”. And when I say no - they get pushy. This is a way to LOSE customers DTV. I am a happy customer until I get these stupid pushy sales calls that try to trick me into saying “ok”. Note to self - don’t answer DTV calls ever again. This one made me so mad I’m considering switching. Knock off the trickery DTV.

Generally, DTV usually does not make sales calls. Most likely, these calls are from scammers spoofing DTV's phone numbers. Do not give out your personal info, as DTV reps would already have all your info on file.

Rule #1 - If you don't recognize the number, don't answer. If it's important, they'll leave a message or call back.
Rule #2 - If you don't recognize the number and they claim to be from a business, call them back at a number you do know to be an official number.

There were some outbound 3rd party sales like that, not directly from DirecTV. But now, most calls I would chalk up to scammers pretending to be associated with them.
Even if Caller ID says DirecTV, unless you were immediately expecting a callback (rare), DO NOT ANSWER.
I've been getting an increase of spam calls pretending to be DirecTV (the 50% off bill if you pay for so many months up front scam, as said in the voicemail left). So I don't answer and send the number to block list.
If you've mistakenly answered, just HANG UP. Don't argue with the person on the phone, just a "no thank you, please take me off your calling list, goodbye". Doesn't matter what company, but outbound sales are not going to end the call themselves if they can help it. They rely on you answering and being too weak-willed to hang up on them.

As a side note, these calls were definitely from DirectTV. They wanted to add another service onto my streaming. They were not asking for any additional information from me - just my “acceptance” to add the new service. I typically don’t answer phone numbers I do not recognize. These calls showed up as DirectTV. But I definitely won’t answer them anymore.

Then sounds like the 3rd party outbound sales. And too often they don't explain the promos well (or too quickly for you to get the important bits).
Don't answer is the right answer. If you want to review your options, log into your account or call their official number at your convenient time.
