Unauthorized User

A temporary house guest was given permission to use my DirecTV Stream log-in credentials while visiting my residence.  After leaving, they continue to use my DirecTV Stream services without permission.  This has denied me access to one of my two allowed streams at times.  I have changed both my username and password but this has not permitted the unauthorized user from continuing to access my DirecTV Stream services.  I have verified that I am still able to log into my own personal streaming devices using my old login credentials.  Is there a way to “push” a reset to my account so as to force all connected devices to have to re-login again?

The “easy” answer here seems to me to cancel your account.   Then, sign up again as a “new” customer using a different email address.    That should shut down the offending user, but you will lose your recordings.

My unauthorized user was eventually restricted from accessing my subscription after a username and password change.  This took a few weeks to accomplish.  I suspect that this occurred as a result of a routine DirecTV app update which forced permitted users to login again with my NEW username and password.
