IR Sensor Location on C71RW-400 Box?

Trying to place an IR emitter on the C71RW-400 box.  Hoping someone could post a picture with location or a link to pictures or a detailed description of where it is at.

Thank you

DIRECTV STREAM remotes work with Bluetooth so there’s no reason for IR whatsoever. IR is only used to control the TV power, input, and volume.

There are some who don’t  want to use that remote and instead want to use the RC73B (or a universal remote) which is much easier to see in the dark and the buttons are more prominent, making it easier to use.   That would be a reason to know where the IR receiver is on the box

Why do you think the box has an IR receiver in it?  The remote has an IR transmitter for the reason @detuch254 mentioned.

I sure don't see anything close to an IR receiver in the FCC photos.

DTV has said that "the C71KW will not function with the RC6x or RC7x remotes".

The DIRECTV satellite remotes do indeed work with the DIRECTV STREAM Osprey Box. But, that’s beside the OP’s point anyway @JAL123

Interesting, thanks @detuch254.  I took that directly from the wording in the FCC report so something obviously changed since then.
